For example, to turn the AC off after 2 hours, you would need to press the sleep mode button twice. 3. To change the timer programming one hour at a time, press the sleep mode button while aiming it toward the air-conditioner. 4. Make sure the sleep mode LED lights up. 5. - The auto restart function will turn the A/C back on automatically after a power outage, at the previous operating settings.
