How can I use the sleep mode?

You can use the sleep mode (star-shaped) by following the instructions below: 1. Press the sleep mode button to set the time you want the AC to turn off automatically. 2. The timer is programmed in one-hour increments, and programming can be made by pressing the sleep mode button 1 to 7 times (1hr - 7hrs). For example, to turn the AC off after 2 hours, you would need to press the sleep mode button twice. 3. To change the timer programming one hour at a time, press the sleep mode button while aiming it toward the air-conditioner. 4. Make sure the sleep mode LED lights up. 5. What is auto restart?

The auto restart function will turn the A/C back on automatically after a power outage, at the previous operating settings. If the air conditioner does not receive any signal from the remote control, it will turn off automatically after 7 hours. If you want to use this function, open the front grille upward and move the slide s/w to Auto Restart position. Please use this function if there is unstable power condition in your area. If you don't want to use this function, move the slide s/w to remote control position. If your electricity supply is stable, please set the slide s/w to remote control position.

What is the function of the forced operation key?

You can use the forced operation key whenever the remote control can't be used. To use, follow the instructions below: 1. Open the front panel upward and move the slide switch to the forced operation position. 2. If you want to stop the forced operation function, move the slide switch to auto restart or to the remote control position. 3. Forced operation conditions are set automatically.

What is the function of the reversing valve?

The main function of the reversing valve is to change the direction of the refrigerant. If you change operation mode from "cooling mode" to "heating mode," or from "heating mode" to "cooling mode," the reversing valve is used.

When the A/C is noisy during operation

1. When you hear noise from the A/C during operation or after you turn it off: --- It is normal. The noise comes from the freon flowing through the internal pipes. 2. When you hear noise from the A/C as soon as it is turned off: --- It is normal. The unit is balancing the pressure of the cycle.
